The power went out in our store yesterday. I wasn't working, but I went in with a friend to get a few things. Isn't that sad? Well, anyway the generator didn't even come on, so there was about 20 lights on in the whole damn store. Only the 2 tills in electronics were working so there was SHITLOADS of people over there trying to get rung up. Hah! That looked fun...not so much. We stood by Guest Service, and a lady walked up and wanted to return something and they told her they couldn't because the power was out and the lady got pissy! Yeah, they cut the power right when you walked in the door. Jesus Christ! They finally got one lane back on, and the line was LONG for that too. I don't know why it was so busy at 3-4 in the afternoon.
Yes, I'm still dreading cashiering on Saturday. 7-close. Holy. Shit. I work GS the next day, and that week I have a whopping 10 hours! Can't wait to pay bills with that! Ah shit! I wanna quit, but then I don't.
Hmm... I get really bored, and don't know what to say on here when I don't work.

LOL at the power being out. I work at Target too, and I feel the same way: I want to quit but I need the money. It's not the company that's bad...they are good to work for, for the most part. The part that I hate is the rude guests, and I had more than my fair share today. UGH!
