Yesterday went by so god damn slow! At 5 it already felt like it was 9, so it sucked major ass. Once again, I don't remember any guests that I had, either because I'm overworked, or there were no major assholes. Yesterday was the first day Amber was at GS, so it was pretty much me on 2 tills at the same time. I had to listen in on what she was doing to make sure she was doing things correctly. We started closing at 11pm yesterday also. That's gonna suck! That'll go thru the day after Christmas.
I am going to be so fuckin' pissy on Friday because I close CASHIERING. Fuck it to hell! I seriously hate that place!
The B-Squad was up and running today, clueless as usual. I swear they have got to be the dumbest fucks in the world. You would think something would take to their thick chimpanzee skulls, but no.
As everyone probably knows by now, the Salvation Army was banned from solicting on Target's property because Target has a NO SOLICITATION policy, and had made an exception for the SA. But after numerous complaints from other worthy causes, Target has just decided to ban everyone. The SA is making the biggest deal out of this, and many are swearing to never shop at Target again. (We should be so lucky.) Because of the way the SA is handling this, I personally will NOT donate to the SA this year. They don't deserve it. Why give them more money to make people angry at Target for no good reason? And it's not like Target doesn't help the community, Target gives over $100 million a year to local schools and charities across the nation. I heard they even made a $5 million contribution to the SA to help offset the difference. But does anyone ever hear about that? NO! I'm sick of the SA CONSTANTLY bringing this topic up. Set up elsewhere, if people really want to donate, they can find another bell ringer or simply mail in a check. Fuck the SA, they won't be getting shit from me this year! They need to grow the fuck up!
Well, my rant is done for now. Just wait to see what I have to say after the fiasco that is Friday, November 26. It'll be a miracle if I'm still employed by the end of the day.
