Canadian Spring Break: Day 1

Yes, it's Canadian spring break this week. Oh joy! My town is flooded with these people, and all stores are busy. Thanks losers! And of course I work 5 days in a row, so I'll get to deal with them all day, every day until Sunday. And of course they can't drive correctly. I've seen numerous Canadians in the straight lane with their blinker on. And some also use the gravel road in the middle of the interstate to turn around. Big no no!

Well, yesterday was obviously busy as I've stated, but there were so many Canadians! I think I had about 1 or 2 nice Canadians, and the rest were just rude or dumb. Our parking lot looked like we were a part of fucking Canada!

First off, there were some rather rude ones.
-I helped do a carryout for some canucks with a large gazebo. I helped them put it in their truck, and after it was in there, I stood there expecting a 'thank you' or something, but one never came. How rude! For all my readers, please use please, thank you, and all other nice words. It is appreciated.
-Then, I picked up hangers. As I was rolling along full speed with 2 garbage cans full of hangers, this woman juts out right in front of me. And there was no 'excuse me' or anything. And I know she saw me before she leaped out in front of me, but she seemed like te kind of person who thinks everyone should bow down to her just because *she* is there. I shoulda plowed right into her.

Then, I got bombarded with so many questions! Where's the nearest liquor store? How do I get to ...? and so on. I don't mind answering questions, but I hate when they get mad at you for not knowing something. I'm not a fucking travel guide!

There was this one old woman (Canadian, but then again only the workers weren't) and she was at the end of my lane looking through the magazines. I ask her if there is anything I can help her find, and she seriously gave me her life story. She would not shut up. Blah blah blah. Then of all things, she says she's never coming back to this area because she doesn't like it. Yeah, ok that's an insult to everyone living here, but thanks! She kept using descriptive words why she didn't like it. I shoulda told her to go notrh, and don't stop.

There was this one woman who went through another employee's lane, and said to the cashier, "I bet you are thinking that all of us should go back to Canada." The cashier 'laughed along' with her as though it was a joke. It isn't a joke, we really do want you back where you came from.

Then, I had a woman argue with me. At my Target store, we accept PAPER Canadian currency, as in NO coins. Well, the total came to something like $10.48 Canadian, and she handed me a Canadian 10, and started rifling through her coins. I told her we can't accept the coins, and she started arguing that the cashier took them yesterday. I told her the cashier shouldn't have done it, and I wasn't about to either. our banks won't take you coins! It's not my problem! Exchange your money before you come down, that's what common sense would tell me. But they are Canadian, so I don't expect much.

You can tell what people are Canadian so easily. They buy the weirdest shit, and also wear the weirdest shit. They also have weird ass hair styles. What I don't understand is that 8 out of 10 of them wear something that has the canadian flag on it, or says Canada. That isn't really a bragging thing. Everytime I see people like this, I cringe. Keep your Canada shit in your own country. I don't wear my US flag shit when I travel up there do I? No because it's tacky as hell.

As I've said before, they always piss on our holidays. Even 4th of July, they are down here. What the fuck!? That's not your holiday! Why is everyone down here? Is it spring break for the whole population? And who the fuck would come here? We can't even keep people in our state, so why is this town *such* an attraction?

Well, here comes day 2 tonight, and it will be busy again of course. I work 5-9:30 cashiering. It's gonna suck because all the shit mentioned above only happened in 4 hours. This weekend is going to suck some major ass because the Canadians that still are working will come down, and so it should be busier than hell. Oh, and I also cashier both Satuday and Sunday, so I'll be about ready to kill myself. Day 2 here I come!
