Day 4

HOLY SHIT! It was so unbelievably busy because of all the Canadians. It hasn't been this busy since Christmas. It overshadows ANY other busy day since then. It's because of stupid Victoria day on Monday, so they get the day off. What better thing to do than fuck up the American stores?

Closing was awful. Every department was trashed, and had at least 2 carts of returns at the end of the night. People couldn't zone because whatever they did zone got trashed right after they did it. We stayed until 12:15 am and we still weren't done. We only finished the zones for all departments, and left the returns for the next day. Shoes was horrible! Another team member that has been working there for 4 years said she has never seen shoes so trashed. There was at least 20 pairs of shoes on the floor in every aisle, and even the ones on the shelf were messed up too. It was so bad. Everyone was cursing Canadians. Oh sure we've had busy weekends where there was little to no Canadians, but cleaning up afterwards NEVER was this bad. They don't respect anything down here. They think they are so damn special just because they took a 2 hour trip down. Whoop-de-fuckin-do! I've seen people from farther. And then, they want to try on almost every god damn piece of clothing in the whole store. Since when don't you fucking know your size? I can understand a few things, but they grab tons of shit to try on, and only decide on 1 or 2 things. The fitting room said they even got this woman that wanted to try on underwear. Yeah, NO! Check your fucking underwear for the size! It can't be too different! Because just think, what if they did allow you to try on underwear, if it didn't fit, we can't resell it because your nastiness was in it. And we shouldn't have to take a loss like that just because you are retarded.

I was a breaker yesterday, and there was only 4 breakers for all of the breaks. Yeah, that's almost smart. When I got there, breaks were so far behind.

Yesterday was definitely stressful. Today will be the same because the Canadians that don't go to the fitting room buy loads of clothing, and return stuff that doesn't fit the next day. That's what the fucking fitting room is for. I just might tell them that today. I work 12:30-8 in Guest Service. I was originally supposed to cashier, but I switched with Melissa. Thank God! It would also help if Target turned on the fucking air conditioner. It was so damn humid, that if you even tried to walk quickly, you broke out into a sweat. And because I was running around doing random shit, I was sweating a lot. Well, today will be fun...hopefully. People that were in GS yesterday said they got a lot of the 'but I'm from Canada' excuses. Bring 'em on, because I'm not going to show any fucking sympathy. Tomorrow I work 2:30-close in Guest Service, and Sharon leaves at 4:30. So I will be by myself from 4:30-close on the busy ass Monday. That's Grrr-eat!

Yeah our Friday was like that. Our sales were $50,000 over normal. And our "normal" is insane...we are quite often the #1 sales in the country. On a FRIDAY. We got out at 12, and that was barely. As I was leaving I heard them say they found more stuff to do and to clock back in. I pretended not to hear, because it was my last day.

I'm moving...I won't have access to my computer at least one and possibly three weeks. So if I don't comment, don't cry.

I'm still trying to guess where you live. I'm guessing somewhere near the east coast, like upstate NY or Ohio or Michigan.

BTW...I post more comments on your blog than actual POSTS on mine. Oh well.
